- 2 ahi tuna steaks
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Brush tuna lightly with soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Coat the outside with sesame seeds and season lightly with pepper.
- Heat neutral oil in a very hot skillet.
- Sear tuna for about 30 to 45 seconds per side, leaving the center rare.
- Slice and serve immediately with lime wedges.
