Ingredients

  • 4 tuna steaks
  • 3 tbsp bourbon
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 bunches broccolini
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic together and marinate tuna for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Toss broccolini with olive oil, salt, pepper, and a small splash of bourbon.
  3. Sear or grill tuna over high heat for 1 to 2 minutes per side for medium-rare, brushing with leftover marinade as it cooks.
  4. Grill or roast broccolini until tender and lightly charred.
  5. Serve tuna with soy-ginger glaze spooned over the top alongside the broccolini.
