  • 2 ahi tuna steaks
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Brush tuna lightly with soy sauce and sesame oil.
  2. Coat the outside with sesame seeds and season lightly with pepper.
  3. Heat neutral oil in a very hot skillet.
  4. Sear tuna for about 30 to 45 seconds per side, leaving the center rare.
  5. Slice and serve immediately with lime wedges.
