  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup bourbon sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 8 slider buns
  • 4 oz smoked gouda cheese, sliced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan, egg, garlic, onion, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 16 small meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 12 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Remove meatballs and brush generously with bourbon sauce.
  7. Return to oven for 3 minutes.
