Ingredients
- 6 bell peppers
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- Salt and black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cut tops from peppers and remove seeds.
- Cook turkey with onion and garlic, then stir in rice, tomato sauce, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Fill peppers with the mixture and place in a baking dish with a little water or sauce in the bottom.
- Cover and bake 30 minutes, uncover, add cheese if desired, and bake 5 more minutes.
