- 2 oz bourbon
- 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Add bourbon, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and orange bitters into a shaker with ice.
- Lightly bruise basil leaves and add to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a fresh basil sprig and a thin lemon wheel.
