Velvet Rye Revival

Ingredients

• 2 oz rye whiskey
• 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1/2 oz creme de violette
• 1/2 oz honey syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

1. Add rye whiskey, lemon juice, creme de violette, honey syrup, and bitters to a shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel, expressing oils over the glass.
